Owners synopsis: “She is now 5 years old and has qualified 4 times for Crufts and won her class as yearling bitch, last year she was 2nd out of 27 entries in the BASC AV Retriever Bitch class and 3rd in the same class the year before. In Feb she was 2nd in Novice Dog AV Isle of Wight Working Test. She has also recently passed her KC Working Gundog Certificate. She works on a pheasant and partridge shoot in Hampshire during the winter, this year will be her 3rd year on the shoot, she enjoys a mix of the beating line and picking up behind the guns.
She has had one litter of pups who are also seeing some success in shows and puppy WT. Chesapeake’s are still quite rare in the UK, only 58 were born and registered in the UK last year and 46 the year before.” -Deborah Herring
